Chiropractor Treatment

Chiropractic treatment reimbursement is eligible with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Chiropractic treatment reimbursement is not eligible with a limited-purpose flexible spending account (LPFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA). This expense qualifies only if the individual is seeing the chiropractor for a medical condition and not to maintain general good health so in some cases, a benefits administrator may require additional documentation such as a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN).
